York University’s Art History Graduate Students Association is happy to announce our upcoming Art Sale fundraiser to help raise funds for our 2017 Symposium, Decelerated Dialogues. The Art Sale will be hosted at The Peter McKendrick Community Gallery at Artscape Wychwood Barns on the evening of Friday, January 20th. Wychwood Barns is known as a popular artistic hub in Toronto, and the gallery is an accessible 566 sq. ft. space that has 14 foot ceilings, arched windows, sealed concrete flooring and adjustable track lighting. AHGSA is currently looking for artists who would be interested in participating in our fundraising event at this vibrant and creative location.
The AHGSA Art Sale will take place from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm on January 20th, 2017. The split will consist of a 60%/40% split in profit, where contributing artists will receive 60% of profit and 40% of profit will contribute to funding for the 16th Annual Art History Graduate Student Symposium.
We ask all artists who wish to participate to fill out the submission form attached. [please click on link] The deadline for submission forms is January 18th, 2017. Drop off of submissions/work will occur day of, January 20th, from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm at The Peter McKendrick Community Gallery. If artists need to arrange another time for drop off, please let us know at email@example.com. We will try our best to accommodate you.
AHGSA will also take responsibility for the installation of the works, as well as marketing and outreach.
